Some people find their happy place in the mountains, or curled up in a cozy armchair with a good book. Mine has always been the water.

Pool, lake, ocean — I've never been picky, as long as I'm in or near it. I grew up swimming competitively, which basically means I spent my entire childhood either in a pool or wishing I was. These days, the ocean is my happy place. Salt air, a good beach bag, and nowhere to be? Perfect day.

Striped Buoy came out of that obsession. I wanted bags that could actually keep up with a water-loving life — water-resistant, good-looking, and built with a little New England soul. The kind of gear that's ready for a beach day, a boat day, or a "we're just running to the lake real quick" day that turns into a whole afternoon.

This is a brand born from a love of the water.
